my first appt.
I know, I'm being lazy. I can't help it. All I do is sleep most days, which I guess is common since my mother did it for the first 3 months too. Anyway, I had my first appointment on the 16th. They took like 8 vials of blood from me. Turns out I've actually lost weight and not gained any yet. I guess that's common too due to loss of appetite in the early weeks of pregnancy. We tried to hear this little rascal, but he was being elusive. I was a little disappointed, but I'm very sure he's still there. My next appointment is on March 16th and I'll definitely be able to hear him then. :-)
I went to the store and showed Tom the Blue Jean Teddy crib set that I want. There was also a mobile, fleece and receiving blankets, a small diaper bag, and a baby book. He said it was cute and bought me the baby book so I would be quiet. I've already filled out the pages about mommy and daddy. I think this set will also work if we have a girl. I think it's a boy, but mom says it could be a girl. She's arguing with me. Anyway, I could use it for a girl too because Blue Jean Teddy has female toys and female friends. I can't wait until we start decorating the baby's room. Of course, that won't be until this summer. :-p
My Uncle's birthday party is today so I'll be gone most of the day. It should be fun, but I'm not liking the whole dress-up thing. It's hard enough to find decent clothes to wear to school. The only way I will look nice today is if someone washed my black corduroy pants. Those are the only regular pants that fit me comfortably anyway. *sigh*
This entire week is Winter Break so I have no excuse not to write in here at least once more. I'm gonna go check on my breakfast's progress now. Have a wonderful weekend!
