knitting
You'll be glad to know that I didn't make Tom choose between his family and me. I know it wasn't his fault that his mother is so ignorant. He didn't even know she felt that way. That doesn't mean I didn't speak my mind. He knows exactly how I feel about his mother and how I will continue to feel for a very long time. It just really bothers me that she has never said how she feels about me to my face. What's up with that?
Anyway, I've been bored all this week with nothing to do. I've been knitting like crazy. I was making myself a shawl in snowcone, but I ran out of that yarn. I went looking for some yesterday, but I couldn't find it. Instead, I bought 3 skeins of wine to make a shawl for my aunt's program "40 Shawls in 40 Days". I also bought some circular knitting needles and 3 skeins of playtime multi yarn for a baby afghan. It's pastels of blue, green, pink, and purple mixed together. I'm not sure if 3 skeins will be enough, but we'll see. Sus just came over and dropped off 2 skeins of snowcone for me. So now I actually have 2 projects going: my shawl and the shawl for my aunt's program. I'm using size 11 needles for the shawl for my aunt so it's a little harder for me to go fast. I'm sorry if anyone is knitting-illiterate!
I'm trying this new face wash: Apricot Radiance for oily/acne prone skin. It's awesome. My skin has gone all to hell since I got pregnant. I'm thinking about cutting my hair too.
Anyway, I'm gonna go knit some more. Have a wonderful Friday! Ta!
