baby!!
I had my ultrasound today!! They taped it for us and we have a picture of the baby's hand and his profile. He was moving so much! I'm kinda glad I can't feel him. He was practically spinning. They said he was about 16 weeks along and I'm not even at 15 weeks yet. So he's definitely healthy. His heartbeat was at 143 bpm. That usually indicates a boy, right? They didn't tell us the sex because we didn't ask. I assumed they couldn't tell, but my mom talked to them after and said they could've looked. I think they should've mentioned it if it was possible. Stupid, huh? Although Tom and I are both very sure we saw something between his legs, which is why we're still pretty sure it's a boy. I'll probably have another ultrasound when I'm about 26 weeks I think. Hopefully we'll find out then and I'll remember to mention it for them. Tom was so cute. He was staring at the screen the whole time. :-) Anybody who wants pics, just leave me a note and I'll email them to you!!
Tomorrow Tom is taking the video to his brother's house so he and his girlfriend can watch it. Then Sunday, if he gets a chance after work, he will take it to his mom's house. This tape will definitely be making its rounds. And I can't wait to put the pictures in the baby book.
Hopefully I will be seeing my cousin tomorrow. Either my mom or Tom will have to take me up to the mall. I'm sure she'll want to talk baby showers. I got the list for Tom's side of the family and my few friends. Hopefully it will be small enough to have outside on my deck this summer.
As for school, I've decided to keep the baby a secret as long as I can. When he decides to make himself seen, then he'll be seen. Everything happens for a reason, right? Besides, he won't pop out {noticeably} until at least May. I don't need to be ashamed of my baby. He's not going to change the fact that I'm a good student or that I'm going to a good college. It's just that I'll have to delay it a year and take him with me.
