last day of school!
My little guy was moving around when I first intended to write this. I still love it. :-)
Today was the last day of school!! I have a Spanish Regents on Friday, a U.S History Regents on Tuesday, and a Chem Regents on Wednesday. All in the afternoon. And then I graduate on June 25th!! Yay! I am so happy that I'm finally done. Everyone that I wanted to sign my yearbook has done so. I think I will make sure it's still around when my little boy gets older so he can read all the nice entries concerning him. :-) Speaking of my little guy, my Spanish teacher gave me a gift bag full of goodies for him. I got a 3 piece bath set, two towels, a package of washclothes, a bath toy, baby wash, and a package of play/teething rings. It's my first official gift. :-) I was so happy. I thanked her several times, but I'm going to give her a thank you card when I see her for the test on Friday.
Speaking of gifts, the baby shower is officially Sunday, July 31st at my house. My cousins want a tropical/luau theme. Hopefully I have managed to successfully keep the number of guests right around 20. I have a large deck behind my house, but my house is not large. It's a double wide ranch. We just don't have accomodations for too many people. But we do have two bathrooms! I'm excited. Getting gifts for the baby is more fun than getting gifts for myself.
I had my first Child Prep class last night. There were only four couples there out of six or seven. We were all 20 or younger so it was comfortable being around each other. They seemed to be very nice people. I liked the instructor, she was funny and definitely knowledgable. One couple was due a few days after us, another was due in August, and the other was due in July. I also signed up for a breastfeeding class on August 4th. We have four more Child Prep classes (every Tuesday).
I'm gonna go cuddle with Tom now. Everyone give kisses to Jenn. She might not get them for a while, but I'm sure they'll mean a lot to her.
