found borders

Guess what! I found my Blue Jean Teddy borders!! My gramma took me to the city yesterday to help her pick out my baby shower gift. She wanted to get me a high chair so I just picked out the one I wanted. It's the Graco Harmony one. It matches the swing I want. We got that at Toys R Us and we found one roll of border there. I was so happy, but they didn't have anymore. We went to Babies R Us down the road and found a Blue Jean Teddy diaper stacker, but they didn't have anymore borders. So the guy checked the computer and called around for us. Turns out the border is not being made anymore. But we got lucky and the Babies R Us about 20 minutes away had 3 rolls. So we went there and bought all 3. I really don't think we need 4 rolls that are 15' apiece. I told Tom last night and he said we could do the room twice over. I still have the receipts tho so I could return them or sell them on e_bay. I'm just so happy I finally found them. They were so damn hard to find! I'm also watching 2 Blue Jean Teddy clocks on e_bay. I plan to buy one this weekend. This room will be filled with Blue Jean Teddy. LOL.
Today is my mom's birthday! She's 39. She's the baby of all her friends. I didn't get her a card, but I might make her one using Microsoft Greetings. And then I'll probably clean the house for her. I had asked her to start on the computer room tonight when she gets out of work. It's the only time she'll have before she leaves for the entire weekend. So I figure I'll get started on that too so I can at least reduce {a little bit} what she'll have to do. The room's a mess, I'm not lying. No one person could get through it on their own in less than like a month. Happy Birthday to my mom!! :-)
Baby shower invitations went out last Friday or so. Everyone should have them by now. I'm thinking of having a second one because we didn't include mom's side of the family and I feel guilty that I didn't invite all of Tom's aunts. His family is just so large. So mom said that was a good idea. She wants to get together with her cousin and they'll do everything. This one will be after the baby is born tho. So probably end of September/beginning of October. My gramma had to go and tell her sisters that they would be getting invitations to the party at the end of the month. I wish she hadn't because they weren't invited to this one. So I feel guilty and a little annoyed that she did that. So it's not like I'm asking for gifts, I just want to include everybody.
Well, that's it for now. I'll be home all weekend with Tom since I'm leaving for Canada for a week the following weekend. I'll write again soon.
