french toast
I love French toast. Mmm...
Anyway, I had a doctor's appointment yesterday. For once I only sat there for 2 minutes before being called in. I weighed exactly the same on their scale as I did the day before on WIC's scale - 195. I met the other female doctor in the practice. She was awesome and I wouldn't mind if she ended up having to deliver me. Is it weird that I really don't mind if it's my doctor or not? I just don't have a preference. She did the Group B Strep swab and I told her to check my cervix too. I'm only 1 cm and 20%. We've got a long way to go. She also said that my uterus is 38 cm. Usually the length of the uterus is equal to the number of weeks along you are. So my baby is a lil ahead of himself, but we already knew that. God, I can't wait to hold him!!! :-D
So since I've got time I'm going to camp this weekend. It will probably be my last weekend unless I'm at the same place next week, which I could be. {My next appointment is Sept. 2.} So I'll just do a lot of walking and maybe some swimming and see if we can change things for my next appointment. I don't think he's quite ready to come out yet so I'm not afraid of jump starting anything. I do think that he'll be an early September baby rather than around the 18th. Just watch - the kids will go back to school on the 7th and I'll go into labor. That might actually be nice tho because then they won't be around! I know, I'm mean.
