no go
No go. I'm still 1 cm. She 'manipulated' by cervix tho - the most uncomfortable thing {so far}. She said that midwives use it to aggravate the membranes and encourage the water to break. It doesn't always work, but if it does I should go into labor within 72 hours. I hope it works. I'm measuring 43 cm. This is one long baby. I've hit the 200 lb mark, but you definitely can't tell. She says I've only actually gained about 35 pounds. Everything else was good. My next appointment is this Thursday morning. Hopefully we'll have a baby by then or be really close. Dammit. :-p
I'm home all weekend alone for the most part. My family will be at camp until Monday evening. Tom will be here, but he has to work so he'll be sleeping during the day. If they clean the house satisfactorily before they leave then I won't have to do anything. It will be nice and quiet.
I don't have much to say. I've finished everything I wanted to do for the baby so now we just need the baby. I think he'll be here this week. Hopefully. Have a wonderful holiday weekend!
